AKRON Group is a real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate (office, logistics and retail centers) in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, with a primary focus on Austria and Poland.

Together with institutional and high net worth private partners, AKRON Group invests directly into commercial real estate with clearly defined risk return profiles. The assets are dividend yielding and/or have a long term capital gain perspective.

Thanks to our professional investment, asset, development and financial management capabilities we are able to offer tailor-made real estate products to both institutional and high net worth partners. Since our establishment in 1994, AKRON Group has realized real estate investments exceeding a transaction volume of EUR 2 bln.

DR. STEFAN AUSCH

Managing Director

Stefan Ausch is Managing Director of AKRON Group with over 20 years of experience in the real estate and investment business. A PhD-graduate of Vienna law school, Stefan Ausch gathered extensive experience in development of exclusive residential and top-quality office properties in Austria and Hungary before joining AKRON Group in 2003. Having been responsible for the group‘s expansion in CEE as well as Russia and Ukraine, Stefan Ausch was responsible for various successful developments such as Greenpoint 7 and Euro-Business Park and has built-up and managed a number of major CEE real estate funds including such well-known assets like Warsaw Trade Tower, Europlex Business Center or Bakhrushina Business Center. His expertise in project acquisition, investment and development management is complemented by a vast contact network which Stefan Ausch has built up during his longstanding career managing assets and funds for institutional investors like major pension funds, insurance companies, private equity firms and international banks.

MAG. CHRISTIAN WERNIGG

Managing Director

Christian Wernigg is Managing Director of AKRON Group responsible for operations, finances, deal structuring and capital acquisition. Christian has advanced rapidly in this professional real estate career with over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. In addition to gaining a Master‘s degree from a Specialized Real Estate Business School in Austria, he successfully passed post-graduate courses at London Business School. After joining AKRON Group in 2004, Christian was promoted as Partner and Managing Director in 2008. In addition to his profound know-how about the real estate business as such, Christian acted successfully as executive director leading the reorganization of the group following the impact of the global financial turmoil in 2008.
